Confinement week number 2 has FINALLY ended. ... .. . .

Let me see .. My new COY does not seem as strict as my previous, though this may not be the case ? As its only confinement week and the 3SGs are probably giving us a break ? On a better note, or maybe worse on somedays when I feel slack, it seems that whilst my previous COY HIGHLY emphasizes on regimentation (or maybe it was just because of a certain PSergeant), this COY emphasizes more on fitness level i.e. to say that I will be spending my saturday mornings and afternoons in camp till I can FINALLY clear my SBJ, Chinups and 2.4km ... I am happy though, as I have seen significant improvements from my previous IPPT. The new buggers got the new brown PT singlet, which makes my grey on like OVERLY outstanding ....

A certain SG thought that I would be his obedient bitch and forced me to buy the new brown singlets. I decided to get approval with regards to the wearing of my grey PT kit and I got it. A good thing I guess, or I would have to spend what little I have to buy new shirts. Moving on to bunk dynamics .. I could say that I am not getting along as well with the group of people from this new bunk as compared to the previous, in fact I have already identified like 2 so called buay gao gans/ blur fucks always trying to siam here siam there... could it be the result of having a more "slack" environment ? I don't know for sure, but I hope that as the shit picks up, we will all get along better.

Anyways, Selamat Hari Raya to all the muslims out there. Thanks to Hari raya, we spent 16 days confined but had a longer bookout.

Cover Me ! I'm going in !

COMEX ! Has finally come to an end... Anyways, was at the COMEX on the last day, and it was crowded as ever.... On day 2 I was at Citylink, but did not go to the fair. Decided to snap a quick picture of the frenzy at Cityhall MRT ! Met Syd there, was glad to see him after like many months.. good to know he's gonna POP liao... whilst I'm going in THIS FRIDAY for round 2 :D My motivation is 9th Division, either that OR back to LARC V. Anywhere else like storeman or clerk and I'de be damn sian.

This WILL be another photo post :) Got my canon Extension Tube last week ! For those who do not know what it is, extension tubes basically allows the photographer to take Macro/ Closeup shots using normal lenses (which would otherwise be impossible). Its a much more economical way of doing macrophotography, given that it costs like 1/4 the price of a 1:1 macro lense.

My favourite food ! CKT !!!!!!!!!!!!! Kay Ham !

Ken's Finger on the dail of his EOS 5D ! could be much closer though :)
This is a picture of my shrimp tank, possibly one of the closest shot I can get with my 105mm (like TOTALLY not close... )
Insert the MACRO ! haha. My cherry shrimps are not face to face with me. Tried to get as close as possible, but this was the best I got :) dang shrimps moving about made it freaking hard to focus (plus their less then 1cm size).
I actually decided to set up another prawn aquarium in my room, this time bigger and planted. And will try the CRS after it is cycled. For now, its just cycling and breeding colonies of good bacteria. No doubt, it will be perfected after my confinement week in Tekong island, where I plan to release CRS into the tank. For now it just contains 2 otto's, 10 cherry's and a F*load of guppy fries I got from fishing at Punggol Park this morning ! Still got the "snail problem". Though these guys don't kill me shrimps or fries, they compete for algae (shrimp food) and release ammonia waste. . .

My otto. Got 2 of these in the tank. He basically eats up the shrimp shit and helps in the water cycling process.
Another fish obtained from punggol park was the Freshwater Marbled Goby aka Soon Hock. This guy I will keep in the garden pond. Allow him to grow big and in time steam him :D hehehehe
Very energetic fish, it actually jumped out of my holding tank twice.... the first time it did, I nearly rolled over it with the wheelers of my roller chair ....

Quebec is due to POP in 2 days time and I'm due to recourse in 4days time .... haiz... guess OOTing was not such a bad thing either, cause I got to see the army beyond BMT life. As a BMT trainee, I would not have seen nice friendly CPL's, SGT's that I can joke with etc. etc. Though I will definitely have "problems" adjusting back to the tough regimentations of BMT life, life will always find a way. This time I must not f* up my chance to get into a combat vocation.
