Char Pa Lang Post

The 3 big's gathered in one hearty/ artery colggin mouth full :P Prawn Mee, Char Kway Tiao and Oyster Omelette ! Anyways, the following post are a mixture of last weeks life as well as saturdays outing (hence the post name -_-)
NDP rehearsals as seen from the Esplanade ! I noticed 3 of the 4 apache's had the 4.5 million dollar radar dome on top of the rotor blades.
Then it was to Mezza 9 for LONG ISLAND ICED lemon TEA (or what I normally call Iced Lemon Tea)

The week was ... SEX ! hahas... actually mostly friday lar. Met peanut at border's before heading over to National Museum to watch Breakfast at Tiffany's !! The show i was DYING to watch since i first heard Andy Williams version of moon river 2 years ago. [another Legends of the Fall...]

Ok, I SWEAR i did not see that sign on the steps hehehehe... or maybe, i did ! Was not in my normal Tshirt and jeans today, cause I had to do Solution Selling Call today. But it was ALL worth it... the night without sleep, the rush to Hong Leong Building to photocopy the sales contracts and the 1 hour+ search on the net to find for a suitable Soda dispensing tap !Then it was to BUCKIE's !!!! For a nice cuppa CM, the way i like it served too. Nice thing that peanut actually remembered how i like my CM served ;)
Then it was down to museum for Breakfast at Tiffany's ! We actually went to the old SJI (SAM) and like freaking did not know where the Banyan tree was hahas.... tired asking the receptionist at SAM, but she wasn't really of much help ...... lucky there was some kind of a crowd over at the national museum, which drew us to the right place. The show was really good, the first 30 or so minutes was actually not that nice, I guess I was getting adjusted to the 1960's method of talking, to the awesome environment around me and to ignoring the occassional fags who decided to stand up or to walk past the screen.... But after that, I began to understand the plot more, it is actaully quite a nice movie, I had no regrets watching it (pablo , you really missed a GREAT show man hahas... not to rub it in :D )

The show ended at 10pm or so, and we made our way to PS for dinner. Then to home... I took the 143 back from behind taka, against my better judgement... (i normally took it infront of Tangs, but i was abit shag liao, plus the night before did not slp, then on the bus, i ignored another sign, i realised i was heading towards novena, which is again in the opposite direction of where I am meant to be... but i ignored that and continued to sleep... till i reached Toa Pa Yoh interchange.... hahas... took the train all the way to clementi MRT then walked a HELL long road back home (im the kind that will rather walk thru hell then spend $5 on cab fair, rather starve to death than eat alone... u get the picture)Ya, becasue of that, I missed the last bus from clementi MRT and had to take a nice leisurely stroll back to my house..... im sure u can estimate the distance that i walked (red line)...
On the way home, at the bus stop opposite west coast wet market, i chanced upon this guy who was on his way home too :P hahas... its amazing what small details you notice when you are alone.

Another attempt at making pasta .. ! Minced pork and curly pasta in chives cream sauce.

This picture is quite significant to TB17, I feel compelled to post it :P We were basically sorting out all the 500+ survey forms we conducted ! We were actually so into the task that we initially sat on the floor outside the admin office to do it which was like totally unglam/embarrassing. The admin staff had to "chase" us off the ground and bring us into a room. One of the many think/thin times we spent together which we or atleast I will remember. Recently, CEO posted how TB17 was the best class in 3 years of NP studies. I actaully thought that somehow, TB17 is one of the most "on/havoc" (in a good way) class in my 3 years. Was it the BBQ? Was at Fish and Co? Perhaps at Essential Brews? or maybe at the sports day event? or simply because of the many many many hours we had to spend together doign projects in our sub groups.

How foolish I felt, being angry over not getting into TB16 during the self time table selections last semester. Now to think about it, it was actually the biggest blessing in disguise, and if given the choice again, I would no doubt have chosen 17 in a heart beat. It just sad that we will only spend one semester together, but I guess like the saying goes, all things must come to an end. Just hope that TB17 ends, but the friendships don't.
