One of the jobs I did ? Carry newly arrived goods from the carpark to the storeroom..... (aka sai gang) .... all these boxes are light, but they are chalk full of apple and pear chips !! oishidesu ! I realy wish I could just have a box :P hahas... For now, its pretty boring, given that they have not given me much to do... I even more than happy to participate in "sai gangs" such as this...
NY festivities, as people let loose fireworks throughout the day, but mostly at night I think, though its cool in a way, that I get to see the firecrackers light up as I pass the roadsides on my bus trip, the real "dynamite stick" fire crackers. So most of my nights are spent watching the 13 episodes of School Rumble Term 2, and its a damn nice anime at that.. though I thought the las episode was very nice, it was rather anti climatic...
One of the many antique places which is very close to where I live, just next to buckie's WHICH by Gods good graces is next to my place :P This is not the most famous one, another more famous flea market is PanJiaYuan, and another is Xiu Shui Jie, but I needa take a bus for both.
The INfamous golden Zorki Leica copy ! If my chinese wasn't so bad, I would have loved to start a conversation with the shop keeping old lady and dazzle her with my knowledge on the Zorki's ! ... unfortunately, my chinese sucks.. anyway, that crazy biatch was selling this shit for 2000RMB !!!, that like 400bucks lar.... even at Ebay I can get it for 100 or less..... +, its obviously a fake... she named it Leica, after the famous Leica line of cameras, but by looking, you can tell its just another of those Zorki made Leica copies (just look at the normal Zorki beside it and you can tell...) , PLUS the lens was abit foggy too..... and another would be the fact that Leica NEVER in its poduction history produced any gold cameras... and also, the shutter dial showed "B" for bulb, but in fact, original Zorki's showed "Z" for bulb instead of B.... Still, its a nice piece nonetheless.
THIS is just a shelf of the many antique cameras she sells ! I would really love to get my hands on one of these TLR's ...., though I am not sure how many of them are in actual working condition !
Rolleiflex ? xiang de mei, dung gu gu, wait long long.... I doubt a place like that would sell the legendary RolleiFlex TLR, though the cameras available there really are nice ! Im guessing that alot of them would prolly come from across the bother (Russia or HK) but thats just my guess..
